굳이 이렇게까지 하지 않아도 된다.

1. 해당 제품을 서버의 cdrom으로 mount한다. ( 해당 cdrom을 /cdrom으로 사용한다고 하면 )

2. root user로 로그인한다.

3. 제품을 깔고자 하는 디렉토리로 이동한다 ( 일반적으로 /usr/informix, /informix, ..등의 별도의 디렉토리를 사용하시는 것이 좋습니다. )

4. 환경변수 INFORMIXDIR을 제품을 깔고자 하는 디렉토리로 지정한다. 만일 /informix 라는 디렉토리를 사용한다면

명령줄에서  INFORMIXIDR=/informix;export INFORMIXDIR 을 실행한다.

5. cpio -icdumvB < /cdrom/cisam_7_26_aix.cpio  ( 정확한 화일이름을 다시한번 확인하여 보세요... 제가 정확히 기억이 나지 않는군요 )

이 명령을 실행시키면 화일이 현재 디렉토리에 풀립니다.

6. ./installisam 을 실행시킨다.

7. 제품을 깔기 시작하며, serial#, key를 입력하라고 나오면 해당 값을 입력하여 준다 ( 반드시 대문자로 입력하여야 합니다. )

8. 인스톨도중  /usr을 default 디렉토리로 사용할것이냐는 물음에 Y/n를 입력한다.

Y인 경우에는 디렉토리명을 입력하도록 되어 있고, 입력된 디렉토리에 include, lib 등이 생성된다. default로 사용하시는 것이 무방함.

# mkdir /informix

# cd /informix

# cpio -icdumvB < /cdrom/????.cpio

....

# ./installisam

The following files will be moved to the appropriate directories.

 

    Binary files:       bcheck dblog

    Library files:      *libisam*.a, llib-lisam

    Header files:       isam.h, decimal.h

    Localization files: ./gls/*

 

The default target directories for these files are

 

    Binary files:       /usr/bin

    Library files:      /usr/lib

    Header files:       /usr/include

    Localization files: /usr/gls

 

You may specify a target location for these files other than "/usr"

at this time if you so desire.  Do you wish to change the target

location for the directories?

 

Enter Y to change target directory or RETURN to continue.

Enter new target directory.

/informix

The directory of /informix will be used.

Moving Binaries to /usr/bin
